Job Description
As a BarTech Systems Coordinator, you will coordinate the Mini bar financial efforts by participating in efforts to correct guest folios, optimize mini bar revenue, and interact with peers in multiple departments.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:
• Work closely with the Mini Bar, Point of Sale, and Accounting Team.
• Create and update Excel spread sheets.
• Review charges/credits in Mini Bar Suspense account.
• Move credits/charges to the correct guest folio.
• Settle guest account accordingly and in a timely manner.
• Balance Bartech to LMS daily.
• Research variances to ensure charges are posted correctly.
• Research all guest disputes.
• Perform key history for rooms that have missing Mini Bar items while in vacant status.
• Perform a money transfer from the Mini Bar Suspense Account to Mini Bar Dispute account weekly and the 2nd of every month and send to Accounting.
Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
• At least six months of accounting or audit experience.
• At least six months of customer service experience.
• Knowledge in Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to read, write and communicate verbally in English.
• The ability to work effectively with other departments, guests and management.
• Comprehensive knowledge of pertinent Federal, State and local laws, code and regulations, impacting Front Office Management.
• Knowledge of principles and practices of budget preparation and administration.
• Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management and employees.
• Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
• Excellent communication, organization and analytical skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Skilled, proactive communicator in all formats/channels (phone, email, face to face), ensuring an effective response delivered in an appropriate manner.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Ability to work push-to-talk radio and use it to create requests.
• At least 21 years of age.
Preferred:
• At least 6 months of auditing systems or background experience using a Point of Sale system.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Skill in developing and maintaining guest relations.
• Point of Sale, LMS, and/or Bartech experience.
• Title 26 knowledge.

Work is performed in high volume professional foodservice environment and throughout the property in all locations. Must be tolerant to varying conditions of noise level, temperature, illumination and air quality. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. A casino environment typically allows smoking.
Constant contact with executives, department management, applicants, employees and guests is necessary. Requires prolonged sitting or standing and mobility. Requires bending and reaching. Requires transporting, pushing, pulling, and maneuvering items weighing up to 50 lbs. Requires eye/hand coordination. Requires use of professional foodservice equipment and machinery. Requires basic math. Requires the ability to distinguish letters, numbers and symbols. Ability to comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels (MSDS) and other instructions.
