Design Director, Corporate Creative Group
Corporate Design Director
The Creative Group at Condé Nast supports all corporate marketing and branding initiatives, along with executive-level needs for corporate events, board meetings, marketing campaigns, promotional materials, etc. – creating presentations, digital files, videos, graphics and logos, signs and banners, etc., to be used by the company’s executive, marketing, sales and public relations teams.
The ideal candidate will have a high level of design sophistication and the ability to work across multiple platforms. The position requires the ability to not only guide a design team on day-to-day tasks, but also be a creative thinker who can work with corporate marketing to concept and design long-term big picture campaigns. The Design Director will work closely with the Creative Group’s Project Manager to ensure that all campaign materials, presentations and collateral assets are being handled by the design team and delivered on time to the corporate departments.
Responsibilities
• Ensure the company’s image is appropriately translated across all projects and consistently across platforms
• Manage and participate in ideation, creation, and delivery of:
• Branding campaigns
• Custom creative (print and digital)
• Event design/merchandising events
• Video reels
• Keynote, PowerPoint presentations
• Sales materials
• Oversee the design team’s creative work on daily/weekly/monthly/yearly projects.
Skills and Qualifications
• Minimum 10+ years of multi-platform design experience
• Strong conceptual thinker and ideator
• Positive and collaborative team member
• Exceptional layout and visual skills
• Extremely organized and able to prioritize and multi-task
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Keynote, PowerPoint, and basic web knowledge (HTML, Dreamweaver, Flash, etc.)
