Description
20th Television seeks an individual to support quantitative and qualitative research for the syndicator's off-network and original programming and competition. The Research Manager reports directly to the VP of Ad Sales Research, supporting the NY-based research department, top management, and working closely with the ad sales account executives.
Responsibilities
•Focus on TV ratings and various syndicated research data bases: Nielsen, NCS, NBI, MRI Fusion, etc.
•Provide analyses and audience estimates with logical POVs.
•Must be able to turn data into stories and create compelling sales presentations.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s Degree.
•In-depth knowledge of TV/Media landscape and impact on TV viewing.
•Experience using Microsoft Office tools (notably Excel & PowerPoint).
Desired Characteristics
•Passion for TV past, present and future.
•Expertise with Microsoft Excel, familiarity with macros.
•Experience with Nielsen tools, particularly NPower.
•Comfort working with numbers/data.
•Attention to detail.
