Job Description
Ubisoft, a global leader in the video game and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a Temporary Digital Media Coordinatorfor its IT department. This individual will be responsible for supporting and promoting a global Digital Asset Management (DAM) system, focusing on the content produced by the Ubisoft Creative & Video Services Departments. The position reports to and assists the Digital Asset Manager. They will assist the Creative Services, Brand Management, and DAM groups which are Ubisoft’s in house agency, video production and solutions department. This position has the potential to become permanent and grow into a full time position at Ubisoft.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Executes actions required to manage large asset collections (delete, migrate, archive)
• Cleanse Servers daily according to prescribed governance provided by Digital Asset Manager
• Audit and clean up asset metadata (aka tags)
• Create and/or modify process documents based upon the input of the teams.
• Execute the scheduling and archiving of inactive content
• Collaborate with global team to design and document QA steps for executing asset lifecycle governance, reporting, batch migrations, and development on any upgrades to the DAM system
• Participate in QA steps to validate that DAM features and updates are working as expected
• Document QA results, and clearly communicate issues to both technical and non-technical team members
Qualifications
• 1 - 2 years work experience
• BA or associate degree in Marketing or Communications or Fine Arts or Graphic Design a plus, but a demonstrated ability that the candidate can complete a professional or academic program
• Strong interpersonal skills
• A high degree of focus, accuracy, and attention to detail
• Ability to learn quickly and to apply new tools and techniques
• Excellent organizational, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Demonstrated time-management skills
• Excellent attitude, work ethic and customer-service orientation
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with content tagging and file folder structure creation a plus
