Job Summary:
Marketing Assistant to support all levels of the Marketing Department.
Job Responsibilities:
• Provide sales support for proposals as directed by the VP of Marketing.
• Prepare, edit and finalize local and national Marketing presentations.
• Creates weekly Marketing/On-air promotional sheet for staff and works with various departments to create.
• First point of contact for all winner correspondence.
• Alert listeners of their prizing in a timely manner.
• Handle all corporate paperwork for prize winners.
• Be the direct contact for our PromoSuite system.
• Create weekly digital prize sheets for all stations/all on-air personality giveaways
• Maintain records of all prizing/dates won/etc.
• Responsible for the inventory of tickets and distribution of them.
• Be the direct point person for National Sales Promotions – work closely with the National Sales Coordinator.
• Create all National Sales Promotion one sheets.
• May assist with copy writing for weekly station e-blasts.
• Submits weekly ticket request sheets for various prizing.
• Directly assist the VP of Marketing and Marketing Manager on various projects as needed.
• Perform general administrative duties including but not limited to faxing, filing, copying, answering phones and open and close duties as needed.
• Other miscellaneous tasks as requested by Management and Executive Team.
Job Qualifications:
Skills
• Strong organizational / time management skills, and be detail oriented.
• Able to compose emails and other written documentation clearly and concisely.
• Able to read, analyze and interpret verbal and written requests and directions.
• Able to interpret a variety of situations and instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
• Able to deal with problems quickly, multi-task, and prioritize work.
• Competent in Microsoft software applications (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.).

Education
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Work Experience
• 1-2 years of experience in Marketing and/or Advertising with increasing levels of responsibility.
