Job Description
Role Objectives:
• Oversight of account wide budget and stewardship of P&L w/ EVPs
◦ Travel and entertainment budget oversight and management
• Account management oversight with the teams
◦ Billing/credit oversight
◦ Forecasting oversight and collaboration with Finance Teams
◦ Health-Check ownership
• Project management leadership
◦ Management and oversight of all client/internal projects across Zenith/PFX
◦ Coordination and delegation of project deliverables across Zenith/PFX
◦ Review/implementation/selection of any project management tools
◦ Coordination and prioritization across agency leadership
• Staffing and headcount management
◦ Lead the process in working with other Leads to determine need, resource allocation or re-allocation, replacements and validate/approve the need for additions to staff
◦ Manage merit and promotion cadence for Zenith/PFX
◦ Participate in feedback, coaching and mentoring of all staff
• Establishment of unified processes across teams/account
◦ Ensure documentation and adherence
• Contract/SOW ownership, co-leading client discussions/negotiations with EVP
• Monitor industry, trade and business information sources to identify opportunities for the client
◦ Create POV’s or work with the teams to create POV, preferably proactively
◦ Continue to engage with PFX trend meetings and ensure the team is included
• Coordinate PFX/Zenith All-Hands/Town Hall to ensure continuity of information flow
• Attend Client Solutions Department meetings at Performics
• Identify, review and validate conferences and industry events and recommend Kohl’s participation of those events based on timing, budget constraints and best use of the $.
◦ Host events at various partner summits, conferences and events
◦ Accompany client at various partner summits and conferences
◦ Coordination and alignment of vendors and partners for summits, conferences, events
◦ Personally attend and ensure the correct team members are in attendance where appropriate
• Identify appropriate industry awards, PR and recognition opportunities and lead coordination of Kohl’s participation in and submission process
◦ Ensure the correct team members attend where appropriate.
• Identify needs, provide solutions, and build relationships across Zenith and PFX
• Monitor client satisfaction
◦ Implement a regular client feedback cadence and regularly check in to ensure expectations are being met or exceeded
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree, concentration in business, marketing, or advertising preferred
• Successfully worked in a VP/Director or equivalent role in the digital media space for a minimum of 2 years
• Experience with Agency Account coordination &/or Project Management background is a plus
• 5-10 years of account management experience in online advertising, direct marketing, or e-commerce; client and agency experience preferred
• 6-8 years of demonstrated success in managing and leading people
• Experience in leading projects across large groups and delivering on time, quality output
• Independent worker, self-starter, creative problem solver, adaptable, flexible and able to work in a fast paced environment
