The Order Management team is responsible for executing the order to cash process for our re-sellers, distributors and Bose Direct consumers in the Americas. It is a fast-paced challenging environment, which requires excellent attention to detail and communication skills. Our goal is to provide our internal and external customers with the highest level of service possible with a focus on commitment to established service levels while driving efficiency and continuous improvement. A high level of collaboration is expected from our team members as we aid and support many organizations within Bose Corporation.
As a Direct Order management specialist, you will be responsible for daily order processing of customer orders for the Ecommerce, Retail Direct Ship and Customer Service channels. The focus of this role is to remove the obstacles that keep an order from shipping to minimize any delay to the customer. Key areas of focus that will impact success are inventory management, process creation, distribution and logistics as well as a strong customer centric approach. In addition to daily order processing it will be expected that 10% of the role will be on continuous improvement of order processes. This will be achieved by focusing on root cause analysis of order defects (delays) and implementation of countermeasures that will focus on a reduction of manual work and eliminate delays to the customer. Internal relationships with the sales channel and supply chain management will also be critical to success.

Order defect analysis and countermeasures implementation

The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
Strong Attention to detail
Continuous improvement focus through root cause analysis and countermeasure implementation
Strong communication skills.
Knowledge of supply chain and sales order processes.
Ability to plan and work independently
Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Previous experience with SAP strongly preferred
