JOB SUMMARY
The team member in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external guests. A Corporate Information Support Specialist is responsible for monitoring the operation of the Corporate Data Center computer systems and remote property AS400 systems. Primary tasks include the effective monitoring of systems, insuring operational procedures are performed on time, monitoring/assisting interactive users, batch jobs, handling error messages, checking system performance, disk utilization, interfaces between systems and communications status. Provides initial first level user assistance. This contact may occur on a one-to-one personal situation or remotely by means of remote phone support. Effective management of the ‘Service Call’ process by means of documentation, problem diagnosis, problem resolution and follow-up support
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Effective review of systems, software maintenance and monitoring of all AS/400 applications and OS/400 Operating System.
• Effective Review and Problem Research, Problem Diagnosis and Problem Resolution. Ability to provide client/user services via telephone. Documentation of outages and reported problems involving any AS/400 application or other computer system or communications problems.
• Effective review and monitoring of Microsoft Active Directory fileserver and data communications equipment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Provide maintenance of personal computers and associated computer equipment.
• In conjunction with property or Corporate IS managers provide expertise and implementation services on new software and hardware installations.
• Self-motivated to acquire systems & applications knowledge.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Ability to perform assigned duties under constant time pressures and multi-task.
Ability to perform assigned duties in an interruptive office.
Acquire any required gaming licenses needed and governed by jurisdiction.
EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Prefer a two-year degree in Information Systems.
Prefer a least two years of experience in the Corporate Data Operations Center
