The job:
The Time Inc. Books Sales & Operations intern will support the Special Markets and Sales Operations teams to insure we maximize sales opportunities and achieve our sales goals. They will assist with new business development and sales analytics for the team. They are interested in book publishing as well as sales, and are a creative as well as analytical thinker.
You will:
• Produce sales reports as well as analyze and track sales to identify trends for Time Inc. Books and within the industry
• Work with the Amazon team to manage the account to determine potential opportunities and inventory issues
• Perform research to generate new business opportunities and sales leads
• Handle targeted marketing and sales mailings to distribute materials to sales reps and accounts
• Assist with order processing and order tracking
