Crunchyroll is looking for a Project Manager to join our growing team. This position specializes in conventions and events management, logistics, scheduling, and tracking. In this role you’ll work with internal departments as well as external organizations and conventions, trafficking shipments, managing schedules, and generally making the trains run on time. At Crunchyroll, we exhibit at over a dozen different conventions around the country while simultaneously running several lines of original events, including the Anime Awards, Crunchyroll Movie Night, and Crunchyroll Expo. We’re a tight-knit team that works hard to get everything done on time and under budget. Primary Responsibilities
Project Management
• Manage event master schedules
• Handle quotes, orders, and invoicing for promotional items, signage, and other event item needs
• Track events warehouse inventory
• Oversee travel for events team
• Manage talent travel and schedule needs
• Handle booth shipments
• Work closely with commerce team to ensure timely delivery of all commerce goods
• Work with events team to best promote Crunchyroll and its IPs at events
• Work with events team to accomplish quarterly and YOY department goals
Requirements
• Highly detail oriented, with experience managing complex projects
• Minimum 3-5 years experience with high-level logistics, scheduling, project management, and planning
• Passion for anime or pop-culture conventions and events
• Experience with guest and corporate relations management and planning
• Knowledge of convention center services
• Strong communication skills
• Good at multitasking and situational management skills
• An understanding of stand-alone event planning and promotions
• Familiar with Microsoft and/or Google suites (Word, Excel, Docs, Sheets)
• Must be a driven self-starter who can consistently uncover areas for improvement
• Strong analytic and critical thinking skills, ability to interpret data to make decisions
• Be able to work some weekends and holidays
Preferred
• Experience with conventions, trade shows, events management, commerce, sales, or marketing
• Experience using project management software
• PMP certification
• Basic knowledge of Japanese business
• Fluent in Japanese
