The Role:
The New York office is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator who is highly motivated, organized and enthusiastic. This position is to gain experience in handling day-to-day human resources duties, providing guidance, support, and coordination. The Live Nation Media & Sponsorship and LN Studios divisions have a consistent and effective application of policies, procedures, and tasks which will need someone to assist with on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
• Assists the HR team on routine tasks and special projects
• Responds to internal HR related inquiries or requests and provides assistance with employee requests and questions regarding practices/policies as needed
• Redirects HR related calls or distributes correspondence to the appropriate person on the team
• Updates and audits employee records in HRIS system (Workday) and maintains employee electronic files, scanning, filing & auditing (Box)
• Manages the intern process by collecting resumes, verifying eligibility, partnering with managers and maintaining records in HRIS system (Workday)
• Reconciles benefits statements to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions
• Schedules meetings, HR events and maintains the team’s agenda
• Manages employee information/file requests including verifications and assists with new-employee background checks.
• Produces reports on general HR activity through HRIS system (Workday)
• Assists in ad-hoc HR projects
• Handles confidential and routine information
• Performs other related duties as required and assigned
Qualifications:
• Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, a related field, or equivalent
• 2 years + experience in an Human Resources administrative/support role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with intermediate or above Excel experience required
• HRIS experience, Workday strongly preferred
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to think proactively and analytically
• Candidate must be detail oriented, deadline driven, highly organized, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
