Raging Waters Sac - Food & Beverage Supervisor
Job Summary: SEASONAL position
supervising a dynamic food &
beverage operation
Essential Job Functions:
• Maintain a safe work environment, according to company and external inspection standards, goals and expectations.
• Ensure that all company, local, state, and contracted inspection company food safety and cleanliness standards and regulation compliance, are maintained at all times - including completing daily temperature logs.
• Conduct weekly and monthly location inventory
• Monitor, record and manage product shrinkage/waste to control cost of sales
• Ensure all food product specifications and procedures are followed
• Ensure Team Member schedules are posted 2 weeks in advance
• Manage timesheets, hours and break schedules
• Directing, coaching, counseling, developing Team Members and Leads
• Follow all opening and closing as well as operating procedures for the location – including cleanliness and safety, food safety, food quality, guest service and loss prevention
• Ensure all cash handling policies, procedures and expectations are followed – including cash, credit and refund transactions, counterfeit bills, loss prevention
• Must be able to handle guest concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Ability to a lead a team
• Other duties as assigned to support the park
Qualifications/Skills:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must possess a California State Food Handlers Certification.
• Must have successfully passed all alcohol service training requirements
• Ability to address multiple tasks and priorities in a fast paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills, ability to interact effectively with a diverse array
of team members and desire to assist with and resolve questions, problems, issues and concerns
• Strong communication, problem-solving abilities. Complete understanding of the English language
• Must have flexible schedule availability, including holidays and weekends
• Be Self-motivated and be able to work independently, as part of the food and beverage team
• Food and Beverage and leadership experience preferred
• Strong computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Tools and Equipment:
• Cash register, cleaning supplies and equipment, fountain drink machines, fryers, grill, broiler, oven, soft serve yogurt machines, freezers and coolers, hot holding units, knives and slicer
Physical Demands:
• Requires standing for long periods of time, ability to walk long distances within the park and exposure to variable outside and inside temperatures, including high heat. Must be able to carry, push, lift, and hold objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Occasional bending, squatting, and reaching above shoulders.
