Position Summary:
SiriusXM is looking for a Manager/Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition to lead its Internship Program. In this role, you will develop, drive, and execute on intern hiring strategies. Reporting into the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will spearhead the process of finding the strongest interns to build a pipeline of entry level candidates for the organization. Additionally, you will manage the day-to-day of the program and oversee the ongoing success of the interns once they come on board.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Revamp the existing internship program to ensure a best-in-class experience for candidates, interns and hiring managers.
• Create a consistent pipeline of entry-level talent and build talent brand among top students across universities and majors.
• Build relationships and partner closely with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to ensure recruiting strategy, prioritization and headcount alignment.
• Develop and execute intern recruitment strategy, including business unit specific target school identification and relationship management.
• Recruit, interview and recommend intern candidates for openings.
• Manage the full life cycle of recruitment for all 3 annual internship sessions across all departments.
• Lead internship program events such as orientations, career workshops, panels, etc.
• Oversee the day-to-day needs of the interns and be their main point of contact for any questions or concerns.
• Responsible for the creation and/or maintenance of all intern related materials as well as on-boarding and off-boarding procedures.
• Provide career coaching and counseling to interns and hiring managers regarding performance issues.
• Enforce and provide interpretation of HR policies, practices, and procedures to interns and hiring managers.
• Effectively manage executive and internal referrals for internship opportunities.
• Conduct college information sessions, office/studio tours and attend career fairs throughout the region.
• Keep up-to-date with new recruiting methods; assist in developing consistent corporate recruiting strategy.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws, fair employment practices, and compliance with the company's Affirmative Action Plans and FCC EEO reporting.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• None.
Minimum Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in full cycle recruiting within a corporate environment required; 3+ years managing an internship program preferred. 7+ years of experience required to be considered for the Senior Manager level.
• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Knowledge of federal/state laws regarding employment and the ability to counsel hiring managers on the hiring process and laws associated with hiring.
• Experience in fostering relationships with universities to attract diverse talent.
• Experience recruiting within the media industry is a plus.

• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Thorough understanding of Internet (including advanced search engines and databases) and social media as recruitment tools.
• Demonstrated strong proficiency and experience with an applicant tracking system.
