Job Description
Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a Digital Marketing Manager position for console, PC, and online brands. Specifically, we are looking for a consumer-oriented person who is interested in the online marketing of video games. This individual will report to the Associate Director and will be responsible for leading AAA campaign strategy, development and execution of upcoming core titles with oversight from the senior members of the digital marketing team.
Responsibilities
• Take a leadership role in digital strategy, planning, execution, optimization, and measurement/reporting across assigned titles, pre and post launch.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and international partners to optimize tactics/programs.
• Lead coordination of executional details including assets, approvals and timelines; align with international partners and share best practices.
• Partner with manager to develop content strategy and specific tactics as well as style guides for assigned titles, across social platforms, websites, stand-alone destinations, and Ubi.com.
• Manage content calendar and assist in aligning DM driven content with cross-functional content calendars; manage day-to-day content approvals/posting based on best practices.
• Manage all day-to-day agency and internal production communication.
• Work with web producer to develop and lead website content strategy.
• Develop recommendations for new channel launches.
• Work with manager and analytics to set KPIs and benchmarks for tactics and programs; gather analytics and metrics for reporting and assemble post mortems and reports.
• Manage day-to-day relationship with media team with support of manager; review reporting and make optimization recommendations; lead execution of agreed upon optimization plans.
• Leverage internal tools to inform strategies, drive optimization, and support real time marketing objectives.
• Identify and share digital marketing trends and key opportunities for innovation
Qualifications
• 4-6 years of experience in digital marketing; preferably at another consumer-based company or agency
• Strong knowledge of digital & social marketing programs including: digital production, social media behavior, digital targeting, research & analytics
• Strong experience managing digital and social media channels
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong time management skills
• Entertainment or video game industry experience
• Collaborative, proactive and solutions orientated
• Passion for internet and gaming culture a plus
