Job Summary:
The L.A. LIVE Security Coordinator – Scheduling is employed by L.A. LIVE Properties, LLC, to provide safety, security, and customer service to residents, business owners, employees and patrons of LA LIVE. S/he is responsible for overseeing the scheduling & billing of operational and special event team members.
The position reports directly to the Security Manager Field Operations.

Essential Duties:
1. Uses the ABI System to schedule security personnel for all L.A. LIVE Operational and Special Event posts (minimizing unbillable overtime). 10% Weekly
2. All recharge information is to be updated within 3 business days of the event’s conclusion to allow accurate final cost settlements. Ensure that all labor associated with special events is properly coded and charged to the correct event code.15% Weekly
3. Maintain the designated Part-Time/Special Event Tracking Log. 5% Weekly
4. Create and submit AMMS (work order) for all events that do not have an event code, including all supplemental security charges. 5% Weekly
5. Ensure that the weekly schedules are completed by provided to all departmental staff by the designated weekly deadline. 15% Weekly
6. Has oversight of all time keeping issues and adjustments as it relates to the operational and special event schedules; tracking all overtime hours and billing it to the appropriate event codes. 15% Daily
7. Oversee the Daily Employee After Action Report in conjunction with the Communication Center Lead, to ensure proper documentation of call-ins, shift swaps, attendance, and shift changes. 10% Daily
8. Oversees all functions of the Employee Self Service (ESS) module as it relates to the department. Coordinates all staff availability changes and time off requests. 5% Daily
9. Correct discrepancies in coordination with Human Resources. 5% Monthly
10. Process time and clear WIP edits daily to ensure accurate timekeeping. Referencing deployments, After Action Reports, schedules, to verify shifts/times worked to enable proper billing. 10% Weekly
11. Complete special assignments as requested by Department Management as needed. 5% Weekly
Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education):
1. A minimum education level of High School diploma or equivalent
2. 2 – 4 years of related work experience in Security within a Sports & Entertainment environment.
3. Must be organized.
4. Fluency in written and spoken English.
5. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment required.
6. Works independently but must be able to communicate to Security Management any staffing concerns.
7. Computer proficiency is a must, particularly with programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
8. Ability to work non-traditional hours including weekends and holidays as necessary.
9. Knowledge of ABI Mastermind payroll/scheduling software a plus.
