Brief Summary of Role
The Salesforce Associate will be the liaison between the external vendor and Free Arts staff during the conversion from E-Tapestry to Salesforce during the first 3 months and then take over the day to day maintenance of the database. In addition, the position will be responsible for generating mailing lists, coordinating the mailing/emailing for donor correspondence and other development administrative needs.
Responsibilities:
Salesforce - E-tapestry - MailChimp:
*Responsible for overseeing the transition from E-Tapestry to Salesforce
*Clean-up records in Salesforce and E-Tapestry before and during conversion
*Transfer data related to online donations sourced from various platforms into Salesforce
*Liaise with key staff members and external vendor overseeing the conversion from E-Tapestry to Salesforce and provide input in the development of user requirements and support during transformation
*Coordinate Salesforce training for all teams and provide support when required
*Run reports and queries (weekly, monthly, yearly)
*Process donations and prepare acknowledgment letters
*Maintain and update MailChimp records
*Responsible for extensive data entry and reporting for both the Development and Program Teams, including in-kind specifics, give/get reports, volunteer reporting, activity reports, event lists, mailing lists, program evaluations, thank you letters, etc.
*Provide event support as needed
Education and Required Experience
*Bachelor’s Degree preferred
*Strong working knowledge of Salesforce and other database platforms
*One or more current Salesforce certifications desirable
*Project management experience
*Strong attention to detail
*Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
*Minimum of one year of professional experience
*Team player with ability to multi-task
Reports To: Executive Director - works with Development and Program Directors
Hours: 30 hours per week - possibility for full-time position after conversion
Salary: Commensurate with experience
