Description
Fox Networks Group (FNG) is looking for a Vice President to join its growing Portfolio Strategy team. Responsible for driving growth across the entire FNG portfolio in a client-centric and consultative manner, the Vice President will be expected to both inform our internal sales organization as well as support engagement with senior clients. Reporting to the SVP of Portfolio Strategy, this position is based in New York.
Responsibilities
• Drive growth across the FNG portfolio by applying a client-centric mind-set and consultative approach to better position FNG platforms and assets against our clients’ business challenges and drivers.
• Build industry category expertise across challenges, audiences, insights, and strategy to inform our internal sales organization as well as engage senior clients.
• Establish category baselines and strategic approaches to develop categories across the company.
• Work collaboratively across the FNG sales and marketing organization (i.e. Research and Intelligence teams) to discover insights and applicable FNG strategies that can be leveraged for strategic development of FNG categories and clients.
• Play a quarterback role on larger portfolio client presentations to drive a clear vision and strategy that the sales and marketing teams buy into to drive more creative, story based solutions.
• Partner with our product teams to build industry positioning and clear client benefits to ensure they are customized and positioned as solutions to our clients’ business challenges.
• Partner with sales leadership to advance a consultative selling strategy for FNG Portfolio of assets.
• Consistently exude passion and knowledge across media, culture and market trends to ensure our sales organization is more informed.
Qualifications
• Minimum of 10 years of experience across strategic brand and/or communications planning or leadership role within marketing / media on client side.
• An understanding of the integration points between creative and media from planning through delivery through optimization.
• Demonstrated experience on variety of categories and accounts.
• Deep understanding of strategic approach to marketing and media plan development.
• Documented success building, managing and retaining high-performance teams.
• Strong communication skills, as well as excellent executive-level presentation, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Successful leadership experience and demonstration of ability to work well across an organizational matrix.
• A passion for media and advertising and the transformation that is happening.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
