Manager, Partner Marketing Nickelodeon
Overview and Responsibilities
The Manager, Partner Marketing role at Nickelodeon develops industry-leading custom marketing concepts for advertising clients. Accounts may include those across Food and Consumer Packaged Goods categories, including General Mills, Kraft, Kellogg’s, Coke, Pepsi, Mars, Procter & Gamble, etc.
The team is looking for a Nickelodeon fan who believes in the power of brand partnership and who thrives on creating co-branded campaigns through strategic, creative writing and visual storytelling.
The Manager is responsible for innovating new marketing campaigns which include but not limited to: ideation, pitch creation (creative writing, storytelling and presentation design), and collaboration on program execution for our clients across all Nickelodeon platforms. The Manager reports into the Senior Director, Partner Marketing.
Responsibilities
• Support the team in partnership with Ad Sales to ideate innovative and exciting cross-platform marketing programs to elevate both the Nickelodeon brand and partner brand products.
• Lead and collaborate with the team in the creation and design of PowerPoint presentations that demonstrate excellent writing, strategy and visual storytelling.
• Communicate creative action items to our partners within the Nickelodeon Creative Advertising team and other business units within Viacom to ensure ideas are executable and within brand guidelines, legal and standards.
• Facilitate, lead and maintain execution process for programs that sell-through in collaboration with the Project Management team; alert Senior Director and Sales if there are any major issues.
• Research accounts with a keen eye on innovations and trends in the marketplace.
• Be well-versed in all facets of Nickelodeon and our brand/platform/IP capabilities.
• Partner with Ad Sales, Project Management and other relevant internal teams to ensure marketing concept, client objectives and brand integrity of Nickelodeon and client are maintained throughout the campaign, from concept to launch.
• Lead the creation and design of program recap decks and collect final program elements along the way.
• Facilitate the compilation of final metrics from all teams and assist in recapping the key takeaways and learnings from custom campaign executions.
Basic Qualifications
• 5-7 years of experience developing integrated marketing programs at a media company or advertising agency.
Additional Qualifications
• Excellent writing and design skills; expertise in PowerPoint is mandatory, with ability to work in Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Comfortable multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced, high-performance group with multiple projects at once in a highly deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write clear, concise copy; comfortable presenting in front of large audiences.
• Passion and knowledge of marketing tactics across all platforms including on-air, digital, social and experiential.
• Skilled diplomat who works effectively with internal departments and external partners
• Passion for the Nickelodeon brand is a must.
