Position Type: Regular - Full-Time
Position Summary:
SiriusXM is seeking a marketing executive to develop and execute the go-to-market strategy for our streaming services with a goal of driving revenue growth and acquiring streaming trialers and subscribers in 2018. The VP will be expected to forge new strategic partnerships with other service providers and platforms to further expand our exposure to prospective customers and generate demand. The right candidate will bring an entrepreneurial spirit, be a marketing leader and thrive in a fast-paced, growing environment where he/she has the opportunity to make a big impact.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute the go-to-market plan for SiriusXM's streaming product and leverage support from other marketing teams as well as outside agencies and contractors.
• Exercise a data-centric approach to building high impact digital marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, trialer and subscriber acquisition and successfully convert trialers to paying subscribers.
• Responsible for managing the marketing budget and optimizing spend to efficiently and cost-effectively achieve subscriber targets.
• Negotiate affinity programs and/or channel partnerships to maximize program performance and market reach.
• Work in tandem with the streaming product and customer care teams to understand market requirements and recommend product enhancements.
• Conduct ongoing research and obtain market feedback in order to provide thoughtful insights regarding price, promotion and placement of SiriusXM's streaming product.
• Operate cross-functionally to leverage available resources throughout the organization.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
• No direct reports to start but individual will be responsible for managing agencies and contractors as needed. Internal team resources may expand as business grows.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor degree required. MBA preferred. Equivalent, relevant experience will also be considered in lieu of education.
• 10+ years of marketing experience required.
• Expertise in the app and/or the connected device space required.
• Expertise in utilizing digital marketing tactics to acquire subscribers required.
• Streaming marketing/sales experience preferred.
• Proven track record in owning a product line or line of business and meeting goals.
Requirements and General Skills:

• Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and utilize resources throughout the organization.
• Must possess a strong understanding of subscription based business models and be able to identify synergistic opportunities in the market.
• Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
Technical Skills:
• Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
