Associates in the Strategic Planning Group ensure that Scientific Games’ leadership makes sound financial and strategic decisions. This role reports to the Vice President of Strategic Planning. Associates are key members of the team responsible for providing critical financial insights to drive the company’s strategic decisions, financial forecasts, and operating plans. These are high profile positions within the Scientific Games organization where individuals will have the opportunity to work closely with and become a valued partner to the Executive, Operations and Business Development leadership teams.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain financial models and prepare strategic analysis for business owners to help answer high-priority questions, drive better understanding of business performance and identify areas of opportunity
Partner and collaborate with business owners to structure and deliver data-based recommendations and informed business decisions
Prepare and deliver presentations to senior management
Ensure accurate reporting on key business drivers and trends
Minimum qualifications
BS / BA from top-tier institution and track record of strong academic performance
Strong financial modelling capabilities (must be able to build fully integrated financial statements, scenario players, pivot tables)
Superior analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent quantitative, written, and presentation skills; innovative, organized, thorough. Eagerness to further develop these skills
Adept at working under pressure and within short time constraints
Superior communication skills (both written and verbal), presentation and facilitation skills
Preferred qualifications
Two to three years of experience as an analyst at investment bank or management consulting firm
Attainment or progress toward CFA designation
