The role: The Sales Strategist for Customer Success will be a key player in the design, development, deployment and ongoing management of the strategy shaping Autodesk’s post-sales organization. This role will work within Autodesk’s Worldwide Field Operations (WWFO) organization and in partnership with various other functional areas to drive a unified adoption and renewal strategy across Autodesk. This involves defining post-sales roles, aligning to our customer segmentation model, defining rules of engagement with customers and partners, and aligning to success metrics.

Your core responsibilities:
• Manage and lead projects to successful execution
• Guide the Insights team to design and measure strategic initiatives
• Support and delivery of cross-functional, strategic, high profile WWFO projects and initiatives with a structured project management process
• Organize cross-functional core teams and build necessary collaborations with business operations and implementation teams
• Work effectively with geo-dispersed organizations, and ensure a strong, team-oriented working relationship
• Effective organizer with strong business acumen who takes the initiative and can work independently or within a team to achieve established goals.
• Make sure every team member is on board and moving in the right direction
• Communicate updates and status (ex., policy, processes, functional changes) across the organization with stakeholders
• Create transparency and measurability for team efforts and platform
• Maintain enthusiasm, energy and focus in a variety of circumstances
• Implement and improve procedures and processes to optimize program effectiveness
Support specific inquiries or ad-hoc requests when needed
About You:
• 5-7+ years of experience in Customer Success or similar strategy role with experience in project or program management. Experience with B2B sales in a technology environment is a must.
• Proven, successful program manager with strong leadership skills and the ability to influence others and drive decisions to closure
• Excellent business acumen, self-directed, relationship-oriented program lead, willing to take initiative, propose ideas and solutions, make decisions and resolve issues
• System and process driven. Experience with Salesforce.com and other commonly used Sales and Marketing & Customer Success productivity tools (Gainsight, Tenrox, SalesForce etc.) a plus.
• Ability to comfortably work in a fast paced, ambiguous and deadline driven environment
• Highly experienced in meeting facilitation and assimilating team dynamics to drive effective collaboration within cross-functional teams
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to present to all position levels, from individual contributors to executives
• Detail-oriented, results-oriented who is both innovative and pragmatic
• A team player who works well individually and with others, willing and able to handle critique
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and you thrive in a dynamic, changing environment
BA/BS degree. MBA preferred.
