Description
Responsibilities
• Manage, optimize and execute on the Company's FX hedging program (trading, risk monitoring, reporting) including championing strategic FX hedging vision for a scaling growth company
• Lead strategic thinking around redesign of FX hedge program to ensure it is aligned with changes in Autodesk’s corporate strategy and changes to new accounting standards (ASC 815, ASC 606, ASC 842)
• Establish performance benchmarks and reporting on hedge effectiveness, P&L impact, and cash impact
• Support international cash management efforts including design and execution of netting and pooling arrangements
• Prepare monthly FX management and accounting reporting, as well as quarterly schedules (10Q/10K reporting). Assist in preparation of reporting to senior management, audit and board committees.
• Manage compliance deliverables (internal/external auditors, SOX) and ensure adherence to constantly evolving external regulatory requirements (Dodd Frank, EMIR, MIFID)
• Provide strategic FX advisory to various internal clients to achieve company's key objectives
• Review Treasury processes and implement best practices to drive process improvement
• Collaborate cross functionally with tax, accounting, FP&A, investor relations and legal
• Identify and review other financial risk related transactions including assessing trading counterparty risk
• Maintain knowledge of current market and industry developments
• Build effective working relationships with banking providers
• Assist in M&A as it relates to FX activities
• Handle ad-hoc Treasury projects and presentations
Required Qualifications/Skills
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or economics, CPA/CFA/MBA a plus
• Minimum 5-8 years of work experience in finance or business, direct treasury experience a plus
• Direct foreign currency hedging experience
• Strong knowledge of FX accounting (ASC 815/ASC 830)
• Exceptional forecasting and financial modeling skills. Ability to create models for a dynamic and growing technology company
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Bloomberg, Reval, SAP, Kyriba skills
• Excellent collaboration, communication, presentation skills
• Superb work ethic and integrity - enthusiastic, self-starter and proactive
• Excellent attention to detail
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills
• Strong project management skills and ability to multi-task
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and strategic thinking skills
