Based in Denver, Colorado, Sign Language XL is one of the leading large format digital printing companies in the world, delivering vibrant color and brilliant images at any scale and on virtually any substrate. Sign Language XL’s advanced fleet of VUTEK, Matan and HP digital printers produce outstanding customized signage solutions for outdoor advertising, sponsor activation, retail POP and event graphics. The company also offers their clients artwork and design capabilities as well as installation services.
The Sales Executive for Sign Language XL will be a high achieving sales professional who will represent our large format printing and installation company. Employee will focus on selling all silos of the company – Outdoor, Venues/Events and Point-of-Purchase. They will call on both agencies and customers directly. The successful candidate will focus entirely on revenue generation (i.e. sales) for both the company and also his/her personal budget, and is expected to be out of the office meeting with customers at least 25% of the time. This travel amount could increase with career advancement within Sign Language XL.
Essential Duties:
•Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, working closely with the Sales Manager on new lead generation and customer follow-up.
•Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders, making presentations of company products and services, generating new leads and return business from existing customers.
•Quote prices and credit terms, and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained as necessary.
•Solve customer problems and complaints that are routine, and refer more complex sales and technical problems to Sales Manager or Director of Operations.
•Prepare reports of business transactions and keep expense accounts.
•Work closely with Customer Service Representative, handing off new orders with accurate pricing, order details and customer requests, to ensure successful orders.
Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education):
•A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year) in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, or a related area.
•Years of related work experience: Minimum of 2 years print industry experience. This could be on the selling or buying side.
•Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
•Must be team-oriented, extremely motivated and able to work independently
•Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation abilities; demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships
•Strong organizational skills, ability to set priorities and meet tight deadlines
•Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to drive results
•Exceptional written/verbal communication skills
•Must be able to work productively in a team environment, as well as autonomously
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Excel Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), and ability to learned required business systems
