Job Summary:
Responsible for partnering with other company human resource functions
to design approach, delivery, maintenance of human resources systems and
special applications. Responsible for directing the strategic direction,
build, and deployment of human resources system and technology
initiatives. Oversees the development of and guides the deployment of
strategic direction for systems across multiple business units and
functions. Provides leadership and direction for multiple functional
areas. Manages professionals at manager, supervisor and professional
levels. Ensures appropriate resources to achieve financial and business
objectives. Influences, shapes, and integrates strategy for functional
area(s).
Core Responsibilities:
• Manages overarching capacity planning to ensure resources are properly
deployed to execute build, test and deploy activities in accordance with
company standards. Plays an active role in the development of platform
strategy.
• Reviews/creates development plans and mentors staff. Ensures a high
level of employee engagement.
• Ensures there are processes to review and analyze business
requirements specifications, designs, and plans to reconcile with build,
test and deploy activities. Provides sponsorship as needed for changes
to plans.
• Develops strategic direction of the department. Motivates and coaches
to ensure optimum team performance.
• Ensures the integrity of overall deployment of system modifications
and enhancements and that system changes are communicated and understood
by others across the human resource function.
• Leads the evaluation of new enhancement packages, competitive
applications and products to determine new features that will be
implemented.
• Develops and utilizes KPIs to identify opportunities across the
department and systems. Implement metric based decision making processes
to develop business requirements specifications, designs, and plans.
• Participates in developing and managing budget.
• Provides a consistent, independent judgment and discretion in matters
of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work
nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Job Specification:
• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
• Generally requires 10+ years related experience.
