We’re looking for a Payroll & Stock Analyst to join Snap Inc.! Working closely with the Global Payroll and Equity Administration team, you will play a key role in computing, processing, and auditing our global equity while assisting with US payroll entries. Working from our Santa Monica, CA office, you’ll collaborate with a team of existing payroll/equity professionals and bright business partners throughout the company to support our finance structure.
What you’ll do:
• Provide world-class customer service for all incoming equity questions
• Own all off-cycle RSU releases
• Produce equity holdings reports for 10b5-1 purposes upon request
• Month-end task include but not limited to:
◦ FMV avg report for the last two months
◦ New grant upload and employee notifications
◦ Run grant acceptance reporting and account setup metrics for management
• Upload new plan documents as needed
• Refresh and maintain the equity FAQs as needed
• Review and perform payroll inputs
• Generate payroll reports to support payroll validation
• Support quarter and year end processes
• Create general process improvements and process documentation for US payroll
• Handle sensitive data with integrity and confidentiality
What we’re looking for:
• Associate degree in business administration or finance, or equivalent experience with excellent academic credentials
• CEP, FPC, or CPP certified professional preferred
• 3+ years of experience in equity or payroll
• Experience with Workday or Shareworks a plus
• Basic knowledge of payroll tax rules and how they apply to equity, as well as gross-ups and their impact to net pay
• Proficient in Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLookUp
• Effective verbal and written communication and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with all levels across the organization with a customer service approach
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
