Job Description:
The Technology Services and Support internship will provide the expertise required to maintain and support various technology systems, adhering to strategic department and company standards. The Technology Services and Support Intern will provide a high level of customer service, advanced technical support for end user software and hardware.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• 65% - Strong desire to help others with a positive attitude, excellent problem solving, strong communication, and organizational skills
• 20% - Excellent ability to communicate technical subject matter to non-technical staff
• 15% - Excellent ability to document processes and procedures
Supervisory Responsibilities
None
Knowledge and Skills Required
• Strong working knowledge of Windows 7 and Office 2010/2013
• Strong working knowledge of PC hardware and troubleshooting
• Server Management - Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange 2003, Windows Server 2003/2008, IIS Manager, MS SQL Server 2005/2008
• Very customer service oriented, focusing on ‘white glove’ service
• General Audio Video technologies, including presentation and design software (PowerPoint, Key Note, Final Cut Pro, audio and video encoding and editing, etc.)
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
