The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager to join our team. As a member of our dynamic product team, you will work with internal business experts, consultants and clients to create new features and to enhance existing functionality. You will be responsible for the product throughout the product cycle, including: defining the vision, gathering requirements, creating preliminary design concepts, and working closely with development and QA to implement, test, and deploy. Product Managers at Ticketmaster have a direct and meaningful impact on driving our revenues.
In this role you will be responsible for leading the planning and implementation of improvements to Archtics and related integration efforts with other systems. Archtics currently has over 400 installations and is used by NBA, NFL, NHL, MLB, MLS teams and many Arts, Theaters and Universities across North America, Canada, Europe, and Australia. This is a very exciting opportunity and high-profile role, which will involve collaboration with groups across the company, both domestically and internationally, to develop and implement product visions and strategies.
Responsibilities:
Working with internal and external experts representing Ticketmaster’s broad client base of sports, concert, theatrical, and club clients, define and prioritize system enhancements and new feature capabilities.
Work with Ticketmaster’s consulting, support, engineering, software, and QA organizations in the development and deployment of new products and features.
Document product requirements, use cases, specifications, and user-interface mockups
Create product stories, prioritize and maintain backlog, guide development through dev cycle for feature stories
Provide domain knowledge support to dev team(s) and other product/program managers
Identify interdependencies between Archtics and other Ticketmaster products including but not limited to AccountManager, Exact Target, Ticketmaster Resale and the Nexus Partner Integration Team
Plan and manage product release including feature documentation and pre-release demonstrations
Assist with day-to-day operational support post release
Qualifications:
Creative, self-starter, ability to conceptualize, refine, and socialize new product ideas.
Ability to participate in and lead discussions with a cross-functional team including clients, domain experts, and application development, test, deployment, and support.
Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills, and a keen attention to detail
Ability to quickly adapt to change.
Must be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to manage and set expectations internally and externally
Excellent organization and time management
In-depth understanding of the Archtics application, and an intermediate understanding of one or more related Archtics systems such as the Ticketmaster Host, Account Manager, Mail Manager, Access Manager, and EMT, and how they relate to Archtics.
1-3 years experience in product development
Get it done attitude – must be able to solve problems with minimal guidance or unclear requirements
