The Administrative Assistant reports to the Executive Assistant to the President of Hearst Digital Media and is responsible for providing administrative support to the SVP, Editorial Director and her team. The person must be extremely organized, a self-starter, a fast learner, has an interest in Edit/Digital Media and very motivated to go above and beyond what is expected.
Administrative responsibilities:
• Manage heavy executive calendar
• Assist with research requests for editorial projects
• Answer phones and direct incoming calls
• Arrange heavy travel schedules and reservations for executive as needed
• Manage expenses via receipt management and expense reports
• Works in cooperation with support staff on miscellaneous projects and events
• Fulfills responsibilities of other assistants as needed
• Coordinate events and trainings for the editorial teams
• Responsible for coordinating brand sponsored events for the overall HDM team
