SUMMARY
Endeavor is seeking a Vice President for our Naming Rights division to sell high-profile professional sports teams’ assets and venue naming rights to Fortune 500 companies, major consumer brands, and similar partners.
The Naming Rights team represents professional teams from the NBA, MLS, NFL, etc., and their premium sponsorship and top-level assets. Our talented team of sales professionals are responsible for landmark deals successfully packaging our pro team packages and venues into meaningful and valuable brand marketing opportunities for blue chip companies.
You should be an energetic, motivated, creative, and passionate seller, with a great history of winning top-level titles and sponsorships from major corporate partners. You also should have an appreciation for the business of sports and entertainment and enjoy working in a highly iterative and agile environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Win multi-year, high value partnerships (7-figure plus) for Naming Rights clients with major brands and companies
• Champion the value of our Naming Rights assets and expertise of the division
• Daily outreach, pitching, and engagement of brands and companies
• Lead the development, delivery, and presentation of proposals, effectively packaging Naming Rights opportunities
• Empowered to manage complex negotiations with credibility and cautiousness, incorporating all perspectives as well as legal and financial ramifications
• Collaborate with Naming Rights team members to align and leverage sales efforts together
• Oversee legal and financial fulfillment of agreements, ensuring accurate execution, superior client experience, and timely receivables for the Company
• Pro-active reporting for clients and partners, creating forecasting, sales, and pipeline presentations
• Work with Activation teams to ensure clients' and partners' expectations are fulfilled
REQUIREMENTS
• Senior level sales experience in the sports and/or media industries
• Practices a disciplined sales approach
• Great case studies of major wins, securing large scale titles and sponsorship sales
• Solid knowledge of sports marketing industry
• Active and current relationships with established brands, professional sports leagues and teams, and relevant partners
• Enjoys autonomy with an appreciation and ability to collaborate within a team atmosphere
• Motivated by a performance based environment
• Agile and adaptable – willing and able to work across a variety of different business models and revenue models
