This is a big job, with a multi-million-dollar target, and each morning the ideal candidate can’t wait to get in the office and start making calls, leading an extended sales team including internal technical sales partners and external reseller partners to understand our clients pipeline production and content creation processes, and develop solution proposals that help them make that next blockbuster. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
• Manages and develops all M&E Business in Western Canada and the Central US
• Responsible for Animation, Creative Finishing, and Pipeline Production Management products and services
• Ensure a specific management and relationship with Top 100 Key M&E customers in the prescribed territory (direct led)
• Develops long term customer relationships and achieves customer satisfaction goals
• Provides accurate price quotations based on approved pricing guidelines
• Works with the technical sales team to provide technical product information and/or demos
• Builds up and maintains relationship with Autodesk Channel Manager to act as “one team/ one voice” in front of resellers and distributors
• Collaborate with central & local marketing organization. Manage actively all sales leads.
• Collects and disseminates competitive information
• Provides accurate weekly forecast, significant deals
• Provides quarterly business reviews, pipeline update, and next quarters plans
• Ensures country alignment with other divisions and functions.
• Responsible for maintaining good relationships with international companies and communicating with press and partners, networking with peers in Autodesk organization
• Coordination of License Compliance activities in collaboration with local teams
• Applies sales skills associated with a cold calling sales model; strong verbal and written skills required.
• Conduct outbound customer calls daily
• Understand customer issues and requirements in order to recommend a specific Autodesk product or industry solution.
• Maintain basic knowledge of Autodesk products, competitive products, and industry trends as well as Autodesk Subscription and Advanced Support.
• Maintain strong understanding of promotions and campaigns related to doing business with Autodesk and/or its Partners.
• Provide partner with the relevant information, understanding their business workflow to create and close opportunities.
• Utilize Salesforce.com to document all customer opportunities and customer activity.
• Maintain Salesforce.com opportunities using probability definitions embedded to categorize opportunities accordingly to accurately forecast against plans and targets weekly.
• Build strong relationships for business planning with each partner and with partner management team.
• Respond to partner and customer inquiries in a professional and prompt manner.
Additional Job Requirements:
• Familiarity with sales process and certain selling methodologies i.e. Target Account Selling
• Familiarity with sales logging applications (i.e., Salesforce)
• Ability to adapt quickly and manage difficult situations while remaining upbeat and positive at all times
• Strong work ethic: Team oriented, self-starter, high energy, and results oriented
• Highly proficient computer skills including internet, SFDC, email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years’ experience in software or technology sales- SaaS experience strongly preferred.
• Extensive experience and demonstrated knowledge of selling into the Media & Entertainment sector and having a strong understand of industries like TV, Film, Post Production, Games, Advertising, Publishing & Graphic Design, etc.
• A proven track record of sales and developing important and effective relationship with accounts including key accounts.
• Solid experience managing both direct relationships with Costumers & indirect sales through Channel (resellers and distributors).
• Results orientated, strong verbal and written communication skills, self-aware, strong business ethics, with a natural ability to build strong relationships internally and externally.
• Position requires a high-energy person with a positive attitude, who is resourceful, customer and service-oriented, creative and driven to produce measurable results and team collaboration.
• Strong “hunter” mentality – willing to cover all components of the sales process (prospecting, cold calling, negotiating complex requirements, etc).
• Highly proficient computer skills including internet, SFDC, email, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 4 Year Degree- preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with sales process and certain selling methodologies i.e. Target Account Selling
• Ability to adapt quickly and manage difficult situations while remaining upbeat and positive
• Strong work ethic: Team oriented, self-starter, high energy, and results oriented
• Highly skilled at multi-tasking with the ability to quickly adapt and learn.
• Ability to think outside the box as needed with an instinct for innovation
• Ability to build collaborative relationships within sales as well as sales support to facilitate better customer experience
