SapientRazorfish is seeking a Director experienced in the IBM WebSphere Commerce software solution. This is an executive technology role only available to partner level resources with years of experience in the digital marketing industry and WCS. The role will have responsibilities in defining and crafting the Agency’s value proposition. This ranges from understanding Rosetta’s objectives and opportunities in the market place, to owning the definition and alignment of the organization to best meet these market needs based on applying extensive thought leadership, innovative thinking, and business strategy. The primary responsibilities of this role are:
• Defining SapientRazorfish’s service offering as it relates to our WCS practice
• Setting technical and executional vision of the Agency
• Leading internal initiatives to evolve and fortify WCS capabilities and service offerings aligned with the Agency’s vision and value proposition.
• Ensuring people growth and mentorship throughout the organization.
Our WCS Directors lead the most challenging and largest enterprise WCS technology engagements of the agency and use extensive experience and deep expertise to render best-in-class integrated customer engagement solutions to the Agency’s largest and most profitable clients. Internally, you are responsible for organizational maturity and innovations to secure the Agency’s long-term competitive advantage in the market place.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Setting strategic direction for the Agency’s technology capabilities and WCS service offerings.
• Technology discipline oversight and leadership of organizational and market oriented activities as they relate to WCS.
• Intellectual Property development and protection.
• People leadership, performance management and reward systems to secure best talent in the industry.
• Authors, revises, and reviews SOW prior to release to client.
• Responsible for SOW contents and for ensuring Rosetta can attain the contractual obligations ratified within the SOW without negatively impacting Rosetta’s employees or business results.
• Ensures consistent client communication and builds client relationships and ensures client satisfaction. This means to identify and appreciate client requests for change and translate these into new business opportunities.
• Responsible for ensuring the project actual effort aligns with the estimated effort and where differences exist learn from the past to control the future. Must monitor actual vs. budget vs. outputs in each milestone on a recurring schedule to react early in the process/project leveraging the SM on the team.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of Experience in implementation, customization, and integration of IBM WebSphere Commerce sites
• Must possess excellent and adaptive communication skills to interact with various audience types and swiftly adjust tone and style of the conversation to maximally resonate with the audiences. This frequently entails working cross offices domestically and internationally
• Must have a solid background in the Architecture of WCS.
• Directors often have made significant contributions to the Agency’s IP and may have been responsible for the registration of patents and/or the development of turn-key products or services that created new revenue streams for the Agency which didn’t previously exist.
