As an Associate Manager within our Paid Social/Branded Content team, you will be working across departments with some of the top magazine brands in the industry including: Car and Driver, Country Living, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Elle Décor, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harpers Bazaar, House Beautiful, Marie Claire, Redbook, Popular Mechanics, Real Beauty, Road and Track, Seventeen, Town and Country, Veranda and Woman’s Day. Colleagues will look to you as an expert in content marketing, audience data and effective promotion.
As the Associate Manager your responsibilities will include but not be restricted to:
• Working with audience and partnerships team, including existing Associate Manager, to coordinate promotion of sponsored content, with the aim being to drive optimal qualified audiences
• Support Content Ignition team in launching and executing promotion of sponsored content programs through partner platforms
• Monitor and manage performance of active content sponsorship programs and identify opportunities for optimization
• Work with internal pre and post-sales teams to strategize on campaigns, collect campaign details, such as KPIs, timelines, goals, and other information relevant to content sponsorship programs
• Track promotions of sponsored content by taking screenshots and pulling reports on relevant metrics
• Frequently track and analyze performance of traffic drivers and relay findings to Audience team
• Through research, identify new opportunities to grow audiences for sponsored content
• Create and implement best practices to streamline internal processes, specifically as they pertain to executing successful content sponsorship programs
• Provide recaps and insights into the performance of content marketing campaigns that tell the story and provide insights into future performance
• Understand and report on the latest trends in customer acquisition
• An understanding of publisher KPIs and how to marry those with client KPIs and speak confidently about the two
Requirements
• Understanding of web analytics and audience metrics, with 1-3 years of working experience minimum
• Technical or product experience a plus
• A solid understanding of social platforms both established and emerging
• The ability to multi-task and think on your feet, to be able to find the opportunities that other people have missed
• Excellent organizational skills and experience working in Excel
• Strong project management skills
• Effective communication and presentation skills
• Agency experience a plus
• Experience at a content company/publisher a plus
• Financial modeling experience is a bonus
