WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
• Responsible for developing the vision and overarching content strategy for Hearst Autos and The Blend Line in tandem with our creative and business leadership.
• Help oversee and cultivate inspiring ideas,using data and pervasive creativity, from across the company into compelling stories for the Hearst Autos brand that respects the authority of our brand and captures the interest of our unique audience.
• Collaborate with marketing, research, support, design, and product teams to understand requirements, user needs, and business goals.
• Test and refine content based on analytics, user feedback, and other performance data.
• Adheres to style and digital guidelines put in place by The Blend Line team.
• Understanding of user experience and content optimization principles across channels (web, email, and social media) and devices.
• Ability to create scope of work and manage project plan with timelines and understanding of prioritizing resources, tasks, and personnel.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW/NEED TO HAVE:
• 5+ years delivering creative campaigns that deliver business outcomes
• Experience with conversion optimization, display advertising, video creation & editing, landing page development, and web design
• Ability to interpret analytics data and develop campaigns that increase client performance
• Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization
• Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal communication, influencing and presentation skills
• Proactive, self-directed, creative, strategic thinking and able to implement plan via a well thought out process
• Provide nimble and just in time support during the iterative content creation process
• The candidate must demonstrate proven success in an entrepreneurial environment
• Experience within the automotive industry is strongly preferred.
