EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, FINANCIAL PLANNING AND ANALYSIS
OVERVIEW
The Condé Nast Financial Planning & Analysis corporate department (FP&A) provides Condé Nast’s senior management with financial information and analysis that is relevant to strategic decision making; such as budgets, forecasts and analysis of the Condé Nast businesses. FP&A has multiple stakeholders, which include Conde Nast executive management, as well as the company’s operating units.
The FP&A Executive Director will gain detailed knowledge and insight into the company’s brands, business strategy and operating dynamics.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Perform in-depth analysis of company financial information.
• Identify, investigate, analyze and communicate the risks and opportunities impacting the business.
• Partner with brand teams to develop annual budget and long range plans.
• Assist with preparation of monthly executive reporting and quarterly board package presentations.
• Meet, present and collaborate with senior management on a monthly basis.
• Lead and/or assist with analysis for special projects, as well as ad hoc analysis, as required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance required. MBA or CPA highly desired.
• At least 5-7 years of related experience required.
• Ability to interpret and synthesize financial data and present in an accurate, concise, digestible and actionable manner.
• Excellent analytical skills, detail oriented with strong problem solving skills and follow through.
