Job Description:
A little bit about our team:
WMG Global Data Operations oversees the collection, processing, and visualization of data throughout the company. The type of data within the scope of the division includes product metadata, digital and physical revenue recognition, consumer, legal and rights information, as well as other key information sources that are critical to the operation of the organization. Establishing proper governance, procedures, and systems to handle the exponentially increasing volumes and sources of this data are the most significant technical and operational challenges by grouping a diverse team of individuals with decades of experience in various aspects of the technology and media industries.
Why this could be your next big break:
You will serve as the liaison between Data Operations and the Finance teams, and will work closely with all stakeholders during the conceptual and design stages of a cost-tracking project.
Here you’ll get to:
• You will gather and document business, functional and data requirements and use cases in label finances in terms of their spend tracking
• You will analyze and document current budgeting and cost tracking processes in different business units, and propose new recommendations on common practice
• You will effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas, and detail process flow both verbally and visually
• You will build a deep understanding of budget and financial accrual data flow. Determine and design functional specifications and information architecture for the new system.
• You will weigh on different cost tracking solutions in our competitors vs. customer developing budget management system as possible solution
Rockstar candidates will be able to:
• You have outstanding communication, presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills
• You have extensive experience with major ERP systems and other spend tracking applications, such as Concur, etc.
• You have vision for the future and you are tech savvy
• You are detail oriented
• You are able to work comfortably with a remote team
• You are willing to travel when needed
