Job Description
Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a full-timeSenior Accounts Payable Accountantfor its Accounts Payable department. We are looking for a highly-motivated and responsible individual with strong accounting and communication skills. The position is based in San Francisco, CA and will report directly to the Manager of Accounts Payable.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the processing invoices for various vendors in various currencies, including but not limited to Facilities, Office Expense, Human Resources, Employee Benefits, Insurance, Other Intercompany, Rents and Taxes.
• Review invoices for proper approval, code and input into the Accounts Payable system.
• Process Wires and Maintain Vendors, Vendor Setup and EDD Filing
• Process intercompany rebills
• Reconcile vendor statements
• Responsible for correspondence, resolution, and interacting directly with vendors on all issues
• Month end closing including but not limited to accruals, reclasses and cash forecasting
• Prepare journal entries with proper documentation, reconcile, analyze and certify various General Ledger Accounts within deadlines.
• Assist in mid-year, fiscal year-end, internal and external audits
• Ensure that policies and procedures are followed
• Cross train and backup team members
• Actively participate in Accounts Payable process improvement for efficiency and support internal compliance process and requirements.
• Performs other duties & responsibilities as required or assigned by Manager.
Qualifications
• BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
• Over 5 years' experience in Accounts Payable accounting, including full cycle AP experience
• Effective oral and written communication skills. Ability to deal with outside vendors, employees and various levels of management in a professional and effective manner. High level of customer service required
• Must be thorough, detail-oriented, able to perform accurate data entry, work well under pressure with minimal or no supervision and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to analyze accounts payable issues, recognize inconsistencies and recommend resolutions. Includes ability to independently resolve routine issues.
• Experience with ERP system, PeopleSoft system preferred
• Advanced knowledge in Excel a must
