Job Description:
The Project Manager will lead a team of designers and editors to deliver an important marketing project that is part of our innovative digital curriculum. The Project Manager will guide the efforts of a team of stakeholders from all levels of the company and external partners and vendors.
Responsibilities:
• Create and track project plan, kick off project and manage scope throughout the project lifecycle
• Deliver project on time, on budget, with delighted customers and a happy project team
• Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria to the team while providing motivation, direction, and overall management to internal project teams and external vendors
• Collaborate with key stakeholders to define priorities and effectively manage priorities to ensure timely delivery
• Lead effective team collaboration meetings with team members at all levels of the organization
• Manages day-to-day stakeholder interaction, communication and expectations
• Track and communicate project status, issues, risks and decisions to senior management / project leadership
• Set project quality and performance standards and achieve defined quality and performance standards
• Remove blockers for team to ensure timely delivery
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree
• 2+ years of experience in the role of a project manager
• Risk management and contingency planning experience
• Possess strong communication skills, team work and interpersonal skills, analytical and problem-solving skills and organization skills
• Proficient in the use of technologies like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, project scheduling tool
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working with designers and editors
