Spotify is looking for a talented social marketing manager to work across all its brand, premium and product marketing campaigns. This person will support, as well as drive independently, digital social strategy for a variety of projects. This team player will work in close collaboration with other Spotify internal teams (i.e. Product, PR, Marketing, Premium, Brand) to help support integrated programs and ecosystems grounded in social, designed to drive both brand affinity and user growth / retention.
What you’ll do
• Support campaign leads on global brand and premium projects
• Be a champion for social best practices, providing both strategic thinking and tactical thought-starters
• Independently manage smaller campaigns across the board with a focus on product marketing
• Coordinate day-to-day digital and social media activities with other local teams (Marketing, Public Relations, Customer Service, Programming, Content)
• Analyze social content performance and audience insights to inform longer-term strategic decisions around what kinds of content the team should be distributing and on which social platforms.
• Advise on social media integration into business activity
• Build out and provide feedback on paid and earned media strategies
• Understand the role of social throughout the campaign process from briefing to execution
Who you are
• Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative, ever-changing environment
• A collaborative mind-set and proven track record of influencing peers
• Experience running technology and web projects as well as deep understanding of social communication channels
• 3-5 years of experience working on social strategy, either at an agency or client side
• A creative thinker, with the ability to execute creatively against strategies that you propose
• Music/Tech industry experience a massive plus
• Understanding of social analytics and applying those in the digital space
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines
• Open to international travel
