Overview
Location: St Louis, MO (KTVI/KPLR)
Reports To: Promotion Manager
The focus of our internship program is to have students gail real-world experience at a TV station.
Responsibilities
Duties as an intern at KTVI and KPLR include but are not limited to the following:
• Assist in writing/production of news topical promotions
• Assist in production of station image promos/campaigns
• Assist in station promotional events
• Log video footage
• Assist in developing content (copy, photos, etc) for social media and station websites
• Other light office/marketing duties
Qualifications
Internship Eligibility:
• Must be 18 or older and a registered student in good standing at an accredited college or university.
• Must be able to work the hours required by the news department
• Students can receive university or college credit for participating in this program but need to handle paperwork involved.
• Must be willing to submit to a background check.
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
