Job Summary:
The Analyst, National Sales Group (NSG) Revenue Management is responsible for maximizing revenue by providing analytical and strategic support to mid-and-senior leadership. The incumbent will utilize media strategy expertise to craft profitable outcomes on requests for placement and will proactively develop data-driven solutions to foster revenue generation. The Analyst role will closely collaborate with both the Director and Sr. Director of Revenue Management and will be focused on National, Multi-Market & Programmatic revenue channels.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Strategic campaign creation: Fulfill RFPs for programmatic, national & import sales channels by using broad knowledge of CCOA inventory and media strategy. Must be able to use RM resources to synthesize campaign objectives & construct optimized campaigns. Will suggest alternative courses of action and execute detailed client-ready submissions, often under tight deadlines.
• Support:Provide periodic SalesForce.com online proposal system (P+) assistance to account executives to ensure campaigns appropriately appear in sales pipeline.
• Negotiation: Provide support to sales teams throughout the entire pre-contracting campaign lifecycle; including but not limited to RFP fulfillment and throughout the multi-market negotiation process and evaluation of corporate trade deals. Enables the client to maximize their budget while ensuring strong positioning for CCOA branches & assets.
• Post-Campaign Analysis: Analyze and report on post-contracting campaign revenue outcomes. Use analysis of previously-run campaigns to inform direction for revenue & share growth in renewal business & new campaign development.
• Inventory: Provide regular support on inventory trends & availability to sales teams, branch and corporate leadership. Ability to converse & report on trends via day-to-day interactions with account executives.
• Product optimization: Collaborate with programmatic, corporate marketing, NSG, and broader RM teams to create new product packages and innovative ways of selling inventory.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Minimum 5+ years of directly related experience.
• Advanced problem solving and analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative.
• Ability to recognize patterns and prepare and present complex data in a simple, understandable manner.
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees/customers and align and integrate with other departments and sites within the Company.
• Ability and flexibility to work under pressure and concurrently on multiple projects and deal with ambiguity.
• Proactively questions current practices; able to identify root cause and corrective actions and drive improvements.
• Computer and systems proficiencies - strong skills in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Ability to present findings to peers and sales leaders in clear, concise, manner.
• Excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.
• Strong time management, organization and prioritization skills with comfort in being self-directed.
LOCATION & TRAVEL
• Based at one of the following Clear Channel Outdoor offices: New York, NY; Philadelphia, PA; or Seattle, WA
• Ability and expectation for overnight travel: 10%
