Overview
WGN America is the flagship entertainment destination of Tribune Media Company. Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities:
• Assists with network scheduling.
• Executes and ensures successful scheduling change process.
• Organization and distribution of programming schedules for upfront, budgets, weekly changes and sponsorship coordination.
• Liaison to programming team and internal departments. Dedicated point of contact for high volume of requests for programming info and its distribution.
• Stunt and event programming coordination
• Coordinates with Research for special ratings requests and to analyze ratings performance.
• Maintains multiple tracking reports, including strategy and planning tools.
• Administrative support, as needed, for the V.P. Program Planning & Scheduling
• Additional ad-hoc administrative support for the Research and Business Affairs/Legal departments, as needed.
Qualifications
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred.
• Experience in Research or Programming department at a television network or station preferred.
• Accomplished computer skills, especially with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage a large and ever-changing workload with grace and efficiency is a must. Attention to detail is critical.
• Basic math proficiency is key. Understanding of Nielsen ratings preferred.
