We are searching for a dynamic Field Marketing Manager who has solid leadership, analytical, and project management skills to establish and implement marketing and lead generation campaigns, strategies, tactics, communications, and messaging.
This is a high-energy role that demands successful experience in the development and execution of marketing plans. It requires familiarity with print product and media programs, product management, business development initiatives, and marketing communications. Critical to have strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple product teams and customers.
This opportunity allows for remote work/telecommuting from home.
Here is what you will get to do:
• Communicate campaigns to sales force
• Support and initiate local field selling events
• Train sales force in product, support field activity, drive/track/analyze campaigns, and conduct win/loss analysis
• Provide product and customer feedback to product development
• Create competitive product reviews
• Develop and oversee marketing and sales support strategies, launches, campaigns, initiatives, plans, and budgets to support assigned program offerings over their full lifecycles
• Track revenue performance of existing products; initiate/define/measure marketing programs driving leads/revenue
• Be responsible for marketing budget and effectiveness of marketing spend and profit contribution
• Develop cutting-edge materials that establish leadership and key message points based on an expert understanding of the customers and competitors
• Support the Editorial planning process by providing critical insight and data that help define the next generation of program features and elements
• Refine market segmentation and optimize go-to-market strategy as required, helping to guide market strategy, intelligence and research activities
• Attend selected conferences and interact with educators, partners, and others to maintain awareness of market conditions, the competitive landscape, products/services, and industry trends surrounding assigned products
• Exhibit special expertise in the areas of strategic planning, research and marketing, and product planning
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and to interface effectively with customers and with other departments within the organization
• Strong analytical skills to both gather and interpret key data points to drive campaign decisions
• Experienced presentation skills and the ability to shape perception
• Excellent interpersonal skills very valuable in driving consensus and momentum around campaigns
Qualifications
Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
• 2+ years of successful sales experience required in educational sales or a similar industry
• 3+ years of successful marketing experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree--Marketing, Business Communications
• Ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external partners, excellent organizational, time management, communication and inter-personal skills
• Experience managing projects from inception to completion, including managing to a timeline and budget
• Adept at using Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
• Highly motivated, organized individual with ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
• Outstanding communication skills – written, spoken, media messaging
• Excellent presentation and speaking skills
• Effective organizing and prioritizing skills
• Works well in a team environment but adapts to working independently
• Ability to handle occasionally stressful situations
