As an Account Executive, you will help restaurants in New York City connect with consumers via online reservations and help them improve their operations. You’ll also be part of the Yelp Sales Development Program, which is a two-year track for your professional growth. This transparent program outlines what you need to be doing every day, month, and quarter to reach the next level. The Task at Hand:
• Manage your own opportunities: utilize online and offline sources to cultivate new leads and develop/maintain your pipeline. Enjoy a mix of inside and outside sales to win the best restaurants in NYC
• Drive the full sales cycle to attain new business: make introductory calls, respond to inbound inquires, assess business goals through qualifying, and close the deal
• Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals
• Be part of the strategy to takeover the New York City restaurant market
What's Required:
• Resilience and an ability to overcome objections
• Positive attitude and a drive to win
• Coachability, openness to feedback, and dedication to consistent self improvement
• Demonstrated sales aptitude, with relentlessly high standards (you’re never satisfied with mediocrity)
• Restaurant experience a plus - waiting tables, hosting, managing
• Bachelor's Degree or 3 years relevant experience
