Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for providing accounting expertise to the iHeart Media Accounting organization and will continuously develop knowledge of accounting systems, processes, and policies. The position requires solid accounting experience combined with a strong analytical mindset. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic, flexible individual with a desire to learn and to increase their level of responsibility and ownership. The candidate will need to possess strong problem solving and organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with others. Responsibilities
Designs, implements and provides products, programs, projects, processes and policies in support of the General Accounting function.
Manages month-end close process for assigned radio markets and consolidated division accounting activities in accordance with US GAAP and iHeartMedia policies. Responsibilities include:
• P&L analysis and general ledger account review
• Accounts payable review and approval
• Journal entry preparation
• Reconcile, research, and proactively work to resolve balance sheet items at both a consolidated and individual market level
• Partner with market finance by providing information enabling them to make informed business decisions
• Uses appropriate systems and tools to input data, generate reports, conduct specialized research projects, prepare reconciliations for review, and respond to inquiries.
• Understands full cycle accounting and ensures proper control, recording, and classification of financial transactions.
• Identifies and escalates appropriate issues to management as needed.
• Assist with special projects or support tasks, as assigned.
Competencies/Skills
• Proficient in Excel and accounting software; ability to learn new systems quickly

Work Experience
• 3+ years of relevant experience with a minimum of 1 year in general accounting
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Master’s degree a plus
Certifications
• CPA a plus
