As we grow to achieve that mission, we’re looking to add a security-minded, mission-driven TPM to support our security initiatives around data sharing. This work will require significant cross-functional collaboration with all parts of the organization. If you possess a blend of strategic, tactical and technical security skills, and can combine that with business insight and meaningful processes, we are looking for you.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with teams wishing to leverage third-party systems and tools to ensure our customer data is protected
• Collaborate on solutions that maximize business value while minimizing business risk
• Establish credibility and maintain strong working relationships with people from product security, security engineering, legal, compliance and incident response teams
• Building information security as a core competency by leveraging our relationships with our internal teams and influencing good decisions through training and educational moments
• Identify opportunities and advocate for product improvements and/or tools that support the team’s strategy while protecting the privacy needs of our customers
• Regularly assess data sharing risks and mitigations
• Identify opportunities to improve process with a focus on simplification and productivity
Preferred Qualifications:
• Well versed in application security, infrastructure security, business risk analysis and making complex business/risk trade-off recommendations and decisions
• Understanding of information security risk and compliance obligations around handling of customer data
• Inefficiency drives you crazy. The ideal candidate is able to reevaluate established approach and drive improvements
• Experience owning the overall success of a program or major initiatives
• Responsive, self-motivated, proactive and proven ability to adapt well and work with different teams within organizations
• Possess strong empathy and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity to detailed solutions. You can take a vague problem, crisply frame the challenge, identify a path forward, and drive an initiative over the finish-line
• Detail-oriented and able to understand the bigger picture by using technical expertise and problem solving abilities to prioritize and manage blocking issues
• Experience working in a highly cross-functional environment where communication and driving alignment with multiple groups is imperative
• BA/BS degree, 3 years technical project management experience in a security related field
• Capable of influencing project teams to work together towards a common goal
• Strong knowledge of security threats, issues, techniques and implications
