Summary
Yelp is looking for a part-time Office Assistant extraordinaire with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, high level of integrity, and the ability to get things done quickly and effectively. The ideal Office Assistant is very detailed-oriented, a people person, organized, possesses extraordinary skill in oral and written communication, as well as a walking embodiment of the Yelp values.
Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors upon arrival and ensure smooth check-in.
• Maintain visitor spreadsheet and voice mail call log.
• Manage and maintain inventory of visitor badges and supplies.
• Receive, process and sort all daily incoming mail and deliveries (FedEx, UPS, etc.).
• Maintain office organization and cleanliness.
• Schedule meals for all large company meetings, executive meetings and one-off requests.
• Assist with off site event planning.
• Provide remote hands for IT support (e.g. plug in the computer to the network and type this command).
• Assist with expense reports and other administrative responsibilities.
• Managing the Pittsburgh office calendar and conference rooms when necessary.
• Coordinate interviews.
• Assist with university recruiting event planning.
• Assist with minor office repairs and upkeep.
Requirements:
• 4-year college degree preferred. Highly detail oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks.
• Multi-tasker who handles responsibilities with calm and success.
• Participate enthusiastically in daily work.
• Strong work ethic and a positive, get-it-done attitude.
• Proficiency in GMail, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Microsoft Office and working on a Mac.
