Digital Producer, Fox Sports Radio
Job Summary:
The Digital Producer, Fox Sports Radio is responsible for the development, curation, and execution of the digital media strategy/content operation and social media strategy/content operation for the Fox Sports Radio brand and nationally syndicated sports programming, including but not limited to it’s owned and operated website, major social media platforms, and streaming audio offerings across the iHeartRadio app. They will work directly with the Fox Sports Radio senior management/programming teams as well as the iHeartRadio/Premiere Networks digital leadership/national digital team to create an engaging digital product and social experience for listeners. This position will be based in the Los Angeles, CA area.
Responsibilities:
• Working with show producers and engineering/studio staff to create radio show audio + editorial content for FoxSportsRadio.com.
• Working with the Product team and maintaining all aspects of the site, consistently updating it with new stories and photos and ensuring it is user friendly and aesthetically pleasing.
• Creating additional editorial/sports content of interest to the brand’s target audience for the website.
• Development and execution of social media strategy and content on FSR branded accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
• Analysis of metrics and diagnostics to shape digital content strategy and meet/deliver on monthly and annual digital goals.
• Working hands on and with the engineering/studio staff to ensure proper digital content delivery across the portfolio of programs to the iHeartRadio app.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 3 years professional experience working full time in a digital content creation/social media position.
• Experience working within a Content Management System (CMS) for website content.
• Experience with HTML based content creation and familiarity with modern web platforms on both desktop and mobile devices.
• Strong background and understanding of the latest social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, and others.
• Must be highly organized with very strong communication skills.
• Must have proven writing, editing, proofreading and copywriting skills.
• Must be a self-starter who excels at working independently with excellent project management skills, strong attention to detail, and with a proven track record of independent judgment and decision making.
• Must be an idea factory, always coming up with new ways to keep content fresh.
• Willing to multi-task and work beyond the job description, including off hours when applicable.
• Must have experience interpreting digital data in order to inform digital strategy. Adobe Omniture Site Catalyst and Google Analytics experience a plus.
• Graphic design/software skills preferred. Audio editing/software skills preferred.
• Strong knowledge of sports culture, current events, and future events. Must live and breathe sports and be able to effectively communicate in a sports driven work environment.

Bachelor’s degree preferably in Marketing, Journalism or Communications
