The Role:
Live Nation Entertainment, the largest live entertainment company in the world, is looking for a highly resourceful team player to bring their passion for music and interest in brand marketing /consumer trends to the position of Sr. Business Lead, Marketing Solutions.
In this role you'll be tasked with developing multiplatform marketing campaigns and writing inspiring proposals to win business.
Responsibilities
This position’s primary role is to be part of a team working with with Media & Sponsorship sales personnel to develop and win profitable business from corporate advertisers /marketers. Specific responsibilities include:
Creative and Strategic Thinking
• Collaborate with team members to develop “big idea” concepts leveraging Live Nation’s portfolio of music assets into compelling, sellable and executable entertainment marketing programs for prospective corporate partners
• Leverage expert knowledge of media trends, social tools and mobile technologies to drive earned media and viral reach of proposed marketing programs
• Conduct comprehensive research on specific industry/client businesses and target audience behavior
Proposal Development
• Develop clear, concise and visually pleasing marketing proposals that strategically meet client objectives
• Work resources internal and external to the department to vet ideas, feasibility, budget, and asset availability for proposed marketing programs
• Balance client goals and requests with Live Nation objectives / requirements
• Develop budgets within Live Nation and client parameters to support proposed ideas
Client Communication
• Liaise directly with clients to acquire brand information pertinent to the development process
• Present marketing concepts to prospective high-level clients in tandem with sales team
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5-7 years of experience in brand marketing, advertising, media, digital or entertainment marketing
• Detailed knowledge of marketing trends, consumer insights and the latest digital / social / mobile technologies
• Expertise in writing and editing client proposals
• Expertise in using PowerPoint, Excel, Keynote, and Word to develop presentations and budgets
• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively articulate ideas and lead client discussions
• Ability to manage large volume of work and execute in a timely manner
• Highly creative and strategic thinker
• Extremely resourceful, team player
• Flexible, fast learner
• High degree of self-initiative
