POSITION SUMMARY
Our VP of Channel Sales will actively lead the development, growth and relationship management of our ‘Score as a Service’ or SaaS network and quickly identify potential partners.. This ‘hands on’ person will plan and direct all aspects of an organization's channel development policies, objectives, and initiatives. This position will work with the IgnitionOne team to better recognize channel partnerships strategy, lead business planning by helping create a market segmentation and prioritization, plan, and execute our go to market strategy. The VP of Channel Sales will help IgnitionOne go to market efficiently and effectively.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Develops and implements sales strategies with partner channels to maximize revenue and meet sales goals.
• Represent the company in all activities associated with reseller/channel support.
• Create, communicate, and execute a strategic sales partnership vision from start to finish.
• Develop key relationships. You need to be exceptional at building authentic, trusting relationships both internally and externally.
• Carry your own quota and lead by example while getting your hands dirty on the frontlines.
• Track and monitor key metrics and process to provide transparency and visibility to senior leadership.
• Implement effective measurement tools to collect and analyze sales data and results.
• Manage Partner Process by balancing the needs of our channel efforts against our direct-to-employer efforts.
• Creating and managing a strategic account penetration plan
• Creating and executing campaigns targeting prospects
• Performing basic web-based demonstration
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
• At least 10 years’ experience in partner sales of SaaS products and experience in Ad-tech/Mar-tech sales.
• Understanding martech/adtech ecosystem
• Come with Key relationships to drive sales upon starting at IgnitionOne
• Operate with urgency
• Doesn’t need ‘hand holding’
• Ability to thrive in a startup environment
• Experience with Salesforce.com and CRM software
• Comfortable using and learning new sales based technologies
• Aptitude to effectively prioritize and complete multiple tasks
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality, results based work
• Capacity to work in a fast-paced, often changing sales environment
• Ability to navigate a sale with multiple decision makers
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
