Cumulus- Wilmington, North Carolina is searching for a Digital Account Executive that has an accomplished record of selling creative digital advertising solutions. This role will maximize revenue opportunities by assisting in the sales of digital advertising products under the Cumulus C-Suite umbrella. This individual will sell digital products and services and identify innovative ways to meet the needs of new and existing clients. This is a unique outside sales position and will be responsible for developing leads and growing our digital revenue and market share. Position requires a heavy amount of prospecting and lead-development with both small and large businesses. This sales position will grow Cumulus/Wilmington’s digital product portfolio impact, revenue and sell Cumulus digital C-Suite product lines.
FOCUS:
• A sales expert in all digital products offered by Cumulus including C-MAIL, C-TARGET and C-SERVICES as well as display and mobile ad positions, video pre-roll, social media and in-stream ads
• Measure, grow and exceed personal digital advertising sales goals
• Work closely with the Market Manager and DDE to analyze and provide necessary reports, market analysis and identify growth opportunities for your personal digital revenue
• Create, prepare and present compelling digital advertising presentations to clients
• Navigate and enter sales orders and provide all required paperwork and documentation
CORE COMPETENCIES:
• Ability to prospect, present and sell digital products
• Demonstrate knowledge of digital products and applications, including; SEO/SEM, mobile, social media, reputation management, targeted ads (geo-fenced, behavioral) and how they work and how they benefit your client
• Creative thinker and problem solver
• Highly organized with ability to support multiple digital ad buys at the same time
• Skilled in oral/written communications with the ability to articulate ideas and guidance concisely and professionally
• Comfortable presenting to a diversified array of prospects/clients
• A team player with ability to collaborate and work well with co-workers
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• This is not a position for beginners. Minimum 2-3 years prior digital media sales experience with a proven successful track record is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Radio, Broadcasting, Communications or closely related field
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new systems quickly
• Must be highly organized, with charismatic and varied communication style. Juggles priorities and communicates skillfully.
